Part 1 - Let The Fun Begin!!

Dear Friends,

Thank you for rising to the challenge!!

Now I would like to give a few instructions on how to use this blog.

You do not need to post anything onto this blog if you do not want to. You can, however, write a comment at the bottom of any relevant post (a post is a journal entry, like this one).

e.g. If you want to comment about this post - titled "Part 1 - Let The Fun Begin" just click the "comments" tab at the bottom of this post. You will be asked to log in with your google ID. If you do not have a Google account, create one at this time. Then, use it every time you make a comment.

Give it a go now!! Please leave a comment so that I know you have read this post, and have a Google account.

Instructions:
This month's theme is circles.

You could: create a block with a circle in the centre; or applique lots of circles into a design; or use half circles to make a design; or join suffolk puffs together....

Do you get the idea?

This does not have to be the centre of a quilt. Each month's instructions must be joined in some way, but not necessarily into a quilt, and not necessarily in the order the instructions were given.

You do not have to use any of the stimulus package yet - just use them sometime during the course of the challenge.

Questions? Comments? You know where to leave them!! (on here), if you think everyone might want the questions answered. Or talk to your mini-group to discuss ideas.

Please take photos of your progress. I would like to post your photos on the blog for this part of the challenge in May. Of course, taking photos and emailing them to your mini-team is the perfect way to monitor your progress, and report in at the end of the month.

Have fun!! Be inspired!! Be in touch!!

  1. I have no idea what I am going to do yet!! All my themes and ideas were put into a bag, I am pulling them out one by one... I'd best talk to my mini-group.

  5. Hi all

It was great to get to Quilters Bazaar today and talk to a few about this challenge. I bought some fabric, came home and looked through some mags and finally came up with an idea. Lets hope I can manage it in time. All in all it was a great day. Thanks everyone for your input.
