Part 2 - Are We Having Fun Yet?
Wow! I can't believe it's time for the next installment already!!
There has been a LOT of exciting discussion between the team comprising of four members. Much to my amusement, I have been excluded from quite a few shopping expeditions and discussions!! As this team has bonded very well, I am reluctant to change their group around.
However, I am making a change from 3 mini-teams to only 2 mini-teams. Please see the side bar to see who is in your group.
I am hoping this change will encourage a greater exchange of ideas and excitement for the other two teams, (who seem to have been a bit quiet I must say!!).
What's the next part of the challenge?
This month, the theme is applique.
Remember, you do not need to join the "circles" part directly onto the "applique" part. These can come together in some other way at a later time.
I look forward to communication and encouragement with my new team!!
Thanks for you all your comments so far. Keep it up!

Part 1 - Let The Fun Begin!!
Dear Friends,
Thank you for rising to the challenge!!
Now I would like to give a few instructions on how to use this blog.
You do not need to post anything onto this blog if you do not want to. You can, however, write a comment at the bottom of any relevant post (a post is a journal entry, like this one).
e.g. If you want to comment about this post - titled "Part 1 - Let The Fun Begin" just click the "comments" tab at the bottom of this post. You will be asked to log in with your google ID. If you do not have a Google account, create one at this time. Then, use it every time you make a comment.
Give it a go now!! Please leave a comment so that I know you have read this post, and have a Google account.
Instructions:
This month's theme is circles.
You could: create a block with a circle in the centre; or applique lots of circles into a design; or use half circles to make a design; or join suffolk puffs together....
Do you get the idea?
This does not have to be the centre of a quilt. Each month's instructions must be joined in some way, but not necessarily into a quilt, and not necessarily in the order the instructions were given.
You do not have to use any of the stimulus package yet - just use them sometime during the course of the challenge.
Questions? Comments? You know where to leave them!! (on here), if you think everyone might want the questions answered. Or talk to your mini-group to discuss ideas.
Please take photos of your progress. I would like to post your photos on the blog for this part of the challenge in May. Of course, taking photos and emailing them to your mini-team is the perfect way to monitor your progress, and report in at the end of the month.
Have fun!! Be inspired!! Be in touch!!

Your mission!
Your mission is to use the stimulus package provided and follow monthly instructions posted on this blog.
The aim is to stimulate our imaginations and to be in contact with our friends more regularly.
You must consult with your mini-team members (see side bar) at least once a month (by phone, email or in person) to provide guidance, support, encouragement and inspiration for each other.
Progress on the monthly goad can only be shared with yoru mini-team. You must complete the monthly task and report to your team by the due date.
You will only work on your own item. No mailing is required.

Answers to FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions):
- When do I use the stimulus package? You don't have to use it all in the first month, but you can. Any part/s can be used at any time during the challenge.
- Are we making a medallion quilt? Not necessarily. Build on your item where and when you like. You can make a quilt if you like, or some other item.
- Why do we only talk to our mini-teams? Otherwise we might all do exactly the same thing to follow that month's instructions. Diversity is a good thing!
- When do we start? The first month's instructions will be posted here at the start of February and will be due to your mini-team at the start of March.
- How were the mini-teams chosen? Names were selected at random from a bag.
